ALIENOR VALLET

Born in Paris, Aliénor Vallet practices film photography at 15 years. In parallel with her studies in human and social sciences, she trained in filmmaking and then in video creation for live performance. In 2003 she founded the association Regards Entrecroisés Nord Sud in which she directs reports and documentaries before being in charge of the cinema programming of the French Cultural Center in Brazzaville from 2005 to 2007 where she also collaborates with choreographer Boris Ganga Bouetoumoussa as a videographer and artistic advisor, co-directs a dance film and realizes his documentary portrait. From 2010, Aliénor Vallet turned to an experimental, conceptual and performative filmic writing and directed from 2014 to 1019 Artvidéo Lab, a video creation laboratory in which she creates a corpus of video works presented in numerous festivals and exhibitions in France and abroad. There she initiated and programmed the festival Les Irrécupérables dedicated to out-of-format film writing and interdisciplinary meetings La Semaine Floue in partnership with the Génie de la Bastille Gallery. Aliénor Vallet collaborated with author and director Dieudonné Niangouna as a videographer on the play Le Socle des Vertiges co-produced by the Nanterre-Amandiers theatre, and worked as a video director on plays by Jacques Osinski and Sanja Mitrovic. She has also implemented multidisciplinary programming for the artistic factory La Ferme du Bonheur and Le 6b and managed from 2020 to 2023 the Culture Pole of the Franco-Nigerian Cultural Center in Niamey.
